Caravan Coffee Roasters are one of the darlings of the post-crash food and drink scene: a killer combination of quality product and attractive Kiwi antipathy for formality and self-aggrandisement. When they found themselves supplying coffee beans to half of London’s quality cafés and bars, thoughts naturally turned to creating a closer connection with their customers.

Without® were approached to create an attractive, robust e-commerce platform where fans could buy Caravan coffee beans and kit. Expanding to retail feels generous when supported by online brew guides, taste filters and recommendations.
Caravan is built on “casual excellence” – delivering exceptional quality without fuss or formality. Working closely with the founders and operations team, we created a site which balanced robust e-commerce with character and soul.
The site was designed to illustrate the specialty coffee experience – a journey from sourcing through recommendations and brewing tips to ways of extending the experience through Caravan restaurants.
