ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Account and Project Management team is here to deliver world-class brand design projects to Without’s clients. Project managers at Without exceed client expectations in every part of a project lifecycle.
Within the team, they keep a commercial mindset, creating opportunity for ideas to flourish alongside managing workflow profitably. Creating commercially meaningful long-term relationships with clients is key to success in this role.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Project Delivery: Taking initial client enquiries, working with the account management team and studio leadership to agree scope, budgets and costings. With overall responsibility for timely delivery of the proposal, you’ll build project plans, create final proposal documentation to share with client, negotiate and agree final scope of work with client. Managing on-going project work, with the support of project managers: project timing and delivery, resource, risk, budget and margins. Stay across the project detail, presenting project status and updates to give as clear a picture as possible to the team. Manage expectations with both client and project team, avoiding scope creep and ensuring project team output is of the highest standard.
- Client Management:Build rapport with clients quickly and establish trust. Understand and respond to different client stakeholder needs as they arise. Take a proactive role in client interactions driving positive client experience and project progression. Actively listen to clients and understand how to support them in their roles and their business at large. Identify new business opportunities arising from the project work at hand. Understand the needs of different stakeholders, challenge a client’s thinking about their brand, and how Without’s design response will create impact.
- Business Operations: Act as the voice of the client in every meeting. Keep on top of traffic management internally, and timelines with third parties partners and suppliers. Keep up to date with freelance talent pools across required disciplines, sourcing freelancers directly where possible. Manage and document project purchase orders and any contracts with partners and suppliers.
- Working with the team: Create a project environment where ideas can thrive and the team is driven to support the best outcome of the client. Keep the team up to date on project/client status, plans and client communication. Share your sector experience and specific client knowledge with the project team. Work with the project team and be part of the critique system, brainstorming ideas and making a positive impact.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll need an innate organisational drive, initiative, resourcefulness and resilience. You’ll be focused on building relationships with key people in the client team and delivering the best outcome for clients. Managing and building work streams with dual focus on profitability and successful project delivery, you’ll be driven by high working standards.
In your first one or two roles you’ll have developed deep experience of working within a design environment as a Project Manager or an Account Manager. You will have developed your technical project management skills to a level where you’re confident in the day to day management of design projects. You’ll understand the nuanced roles that both strategy and creative have within the various phases of project delivery and be able to apply this with confidence across the phases of different kinds of projects.
With strong experience of working across the various seniority levels within client organisations, your experience will include navigating different client needs from the work streams at hand, meeting each client team’s expectations while managing individual relationships too. You’ll have experience uncovering new business opportunities within existing client accounts, and of building those longer term client relationships in line with revenue growth.
