THE ROLE

We’re looking for a world-class Client Director who balances a passion for creative excellence with a sharp commercial mindset. You are here to exceed client expectations at every stage of the project life cycle, ensuring that brilliant ideas flourish while maintaining a focus on profitability and long-term partnership./p>

You will be the bridge between our clients’ commercial challenges and Without’s strategic and creative solutions, driving both client delight and agency growth.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Strategic Client Partnership: Build high-level rapport (C-Suite), challenge client thinking, and ensure our strategic recommendations land with impact.
  • Commercial Leadership: Identify and convert revenue opportunities, manage the business development pipeline, and lead the response for RFPs and pitches.
  • Project OversightTake ultimate responsibility for project delivery, from agreeing on Statements of Work and budgets to tracking gross margins and mitigating financial risk.
  • Team Mentorship:Lead and line-manage the Account Management team, acting as an escalation point and helping them achieve their SMART career objectives.
  • Operational Excellence:Act as the “voice of the client” in internal meetings, manage key supplier relationships, and oversee project data integrity.
  • Marketing Support:Support studio marketing initiatives, including the creation of case studies and participating in marketing team sessions.

 

YOU’LL BE GREAT AT THIS IF YOU:

  • Have significant experience in a senior account role within a branding or creative agency.
  • Are a proactive listener who can quickly identify decision-making hierarchies and budget holders.
  • Possess a “commercial mindset,” with a proven ability to negotiate deliverables and manage project profitability.
  • Are a natural leader who enjoys brainstorming ideas and making a positive impact on studio culture.
  • Have a deep understanding of strategic methodology and can translate complex commercial challenges into actionable project parameters.
  • Are confident in closing negotiations and building high levels of trust through evidenced competency.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple workstreams with a focus on creative excellence.
