ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for detail-loving, lateral-thinking, creative brand strategists to help us make brands that shine. We have a range of exciting projects coming up, and we want to grow our portfolio of talented people to help us create impactful work.
Working closely with our Associate Strategy Director, creative teams and Design, Creative and Strategy Directors, you’ll be a great collaborator who loves rolling up your sleeves and getting involved. Be it conducting desk research and spotting market opportunities, or workshopping with clients and colleagues, you’ll be an imaginative, intelligent and intuitive individual. Where you’ll really excel is taking all of the insight we find and translating it into an exciting, ownable and simple brand positioning that guides copywriters, inspires designers, and wows clients.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Immersing, researching and workshopping to discover insight and consensus:
- You should be comfortable doing secondary research (SWOT, competitor audits, writing benchmarks, industry trends etc.), as well as primary (running client workshops, conducting consumer/client interviews, facilitating focus groups, and writing, testing and analysing quantitative surveys).
- We then distil the most interesting insights to establish our client’s value proposition. The market they’re playing in, their target audience, what makes them different, and why they believe in what they’re doing.
- You should feel comfortable delving into complex business challenges, holding a room, and managing large stakeholder groups.
- You should be skilled at building decks (Keynote / Figma), with strong presentation skills.
Developing the value proposition into a distinct opinion that inspires a brand
- Coming up with great, creative ideas for designers and copywriters to explore.
- Finding interesting angles and ways to tell our client’s story through a variety of routes, selling the idea through persuasive and creative storytelling – how the route is grounded in insight, ownable to them, and creates long-lasting opportunities for business growth.
- Crafting a personality from these routes – from their ‘big idea’, positioning, and archetype, to one-liners, brand behaviours, and tone of voice.
- Working closely with designers to support in creating visual moodboards, ensuring each route feels coherent and aligned with the overarching strategy.
